From Heartside to the world beyond
Heartside is where my way of seeing begins, but my photography reaches far beyond its door.
Behind the camera, I am drawn to moments that carry a sense of character, connection and place.
sometimes that is found in the expression  of an animal, sometimes in the stillness of a landscape, and sometimes in the simple ways people connect with one another.
Veiled Morning
Photography encourages me to slow down, look more closely and notice what might otherwise pass unseen.
The subjects may change, but I am always searching for something genuine
- a moment, a feeling, or a story worth holding onto.
Where Land Meets Water
Place - Light - Atmosphere
I am drawn to changing light, weather,  and the relationship between land, water and sky.
The Visitor
Character - Companionship - Encounter
I look for character in every encounter
- the gestures, expressions and unexpected moments that make each animal an individual
Threads of Belonging
People - Culture - Belonging
I am drawn to ways people express connection
- through culture, tradition and the experiences that bring us together.
Harbour Watch
Places - Journeys - Traces
I photograph places for the traces of life they hold
- the details, activity and atmosphere that give each place its character.
The subject changes.
The way I look remains the same.
